The NEXUS Project held a two-day event at the Technological University of Dublin
The NEXUS Project held a two-day event at the Technological University of Dublin on November 26th-27th, 2024, focused on action monitoring, good practice sharing, and collaboration between partner institutions. Representatives from Koç University, Sofia University, and TU Dublin presented the current status of their co-designed actions and brainstormed strategies to address challenges. The event included a series of presentations on Gender Equality and Inclusion best practices, with contributions from leading EDI experts from TU Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Koç University and Sofia University.

In this second episode of the NEXUS podcast series, we explore how a gender and diversity perspective can be considered in scientific research contents and methods, with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence. For this, we are honoured to have Roger Søraa us today. Roger is Professor at NTNU, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has been part of the Gendered Innovations Expert Group. He has wide knowledge and experience in the Science and Technology Studies, an interdisciplinary field that examines how science, technology, and society influence each other. His research focuses on Robotics and AI.

@SUPPORTER is focused on creating sustainable, gender-related, transformative change in
sports higher education institutions, with an emphasis on addressing gender-based violence.
The project partners—eight sports HEIs from Central Eastern Europe—have co-created
tailored roadmaps to transform their Gender Equality Plans into Inclusive, Innovative,
Intersectional, and Impactful (4I-GEPs).
While each roadmap is tailored to the institution’s context, common thematic areas emerged:
Focus on gender-based violence.
Increasing data collection on gender, including an intersectional approach
Dedicating resources on the promotion of gender equality
