SUPPORTER, “SecUring sPORTs Education thRough innovative and inclusive Gender Equality Plans”, is an EU-funded project running from April 2023 until September 2025. It aims to support eight sports higher education institutions from Central and Eastern Europe in developing their own intersectional, innovative, inclusive and impactful Gender Equality Plans, explicitly addressing gender-based violence and sexual harassment.
Through the joint efforts of six partners, universities from 3 widening countries performs a responsible assessment of the current status of their GEP implementation, improving capabilities through intensive capacity building with the help of 3 mentor organisations. They develop and implement a GEP for agriculture and life sciences with sector-specific measures.
Project designed to use gender+ budgeting to transform institutions to advance inclusive gender+ equality and enhance the reputation, inclusiveness, and research excellence.
SEE-ERA project aims to drive structural change in research organisations by fostering knowledge exchange and sustainable transformation of Gender Equality Plans within five Research Performing Organisations (RPOs) and two Research Funding Organisations (RFOs). By engaging diverse stakeholders, SEE-ERA enhances gender capacities and promotes gender equality in research and innovation through the advancement of inclusive and intersectional GEPs in South East Europe.
Funded under the HORIZON-WIDERA-2024-ERA-01 call, SEE-ERA will run from February 1, 2025, to January 31, 2028, bringing together 10 partners from six European countries.
